Topographic Surveys - Existing Conditions Plans

The accurate location of physical features, vegetation and surface elevations are critical to the successful design and construction of any project, commercial OR residential. Precision survey crews use state-of-the-art equipment to efficiently locate buildings and/or structures, utilities, paved areas, ditches, vegetation and other physical features through the use of precision instruments and automated collection methods.

Surface elevations are collected for use in creating a digital terrain model of the site. Our equipment includes the latest electronic total stations with pulse laser capability, robotic total stations and a significant investment in Global Positioning System (GPS)/Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) network capabilities and software in an effort to ensure the most efficient means of data collection,  processing and plan preparation. Precision technicians are well versed in production of base mapping to include the integration of aerial survey data to ensure collection efforts are efficiently performed for design or construction projects.

Precision has performed existing conditions surveys for thousands of acres intended for design purposes to include raw properties for development to base mapping for the design of new roads.  Cients are diverse to include engineering companies, municipalities, USACE, private developers and a multitude of residential customers making improvements to their respective properties.  Precision has provided existing conditions plans for at least 30 new schools or additions throughout Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Carroll Counties as well as Baltimore City.
